Led by the 1-2 finish of Ella Mogannam and Caroline Chang, the girls team took 2nd place and qualified for the State Championship for the 14th straight season (the longest streak among D5 schools). Ella Adams-Teoh finished 6th, the top 9th grader in the race, to join Ella and Caroline on the NCS 1st Team (top 7). Olivia Sze and Sam Wiley were our 4th and 5th team scorers and secured our second place finish. Ella Schumer and Tali Chu completed our team.
The race was run in rain and on muddy, slippery trails. A number of falls took place, but our team persevered to move on to the State Meet.
